Being Steady in Faith

It’s amazing how much can change in the span of a week! As a matter of fact, in a single day, much can happen. I think of the weather that can switch suddenly without warning going from rainy to hot or from dark to sunny. Similarly, you can start a day happy and end it sad. This is the reality of our world and of humans. The beauty in our changing world is that there is One that does not change, nothing phases Him; nothing affects Him; nothing alters the course of His actions; He does not change like shifting shadows (James 1:17), He is the Great I AM, the Most High, the Holy One of Israel, the One who was, who is and who is to come (Revelation 1:8). Living in the ever-changing nature of this world, it is imperative to have constancy and that is only found in the Creator of the universe. He is the only one that is not affected by change or circumstance or even external factors like time therefore, it makes logical sense to trust in Him completely as He is the only One with the advantage and control over all circumstances. Aside from being our Creator, He is our King and Master which means we owe our allegiance to Him. This week was a reminder to keep trusting in the LORD and celebrate Him. For that, I am reposting a word that was written exactly a year from today on the topic of faith which is still very much apt. May the LORD strengthen or revive your faith as you read. Amen!
